Why You Should Go to a Medical Spa

Medical Spa | May 19, 2019

Medical spa treatment is a comprehensive, doctor-guided therapy taking place in a spa town, using local healing resources. It is complemented with medical physical therapy and motion therapy, a dietary program, administration of necessary prescription drugs, so-called little psychotherapy, health education and an attractive range of leisure activities.

Medical treatments and their relaxing spa town environment do not compare with a hospital setting. Your body adapts to a different milieu and the eclectic effects of spa procedures and care cannot be achieved by regular appointments with one’s physiotherapist or professional masseurs during work days, or by enjoying some of the foregoing procedures, no matter how pleasant they may be, during a vacation when no spa treatment program is drawn by a qualified physician. The combination of physically-medicinal, pharmacological, dietary and neuro-emotional stimuli, which are chosen and adjusted to a client’s condition at the time of the spa stay, represent a higher level of therapeutic effects and a more effective preventative intervention.

A spa stay promotes the regeneration of the body, reduces disability to work, helps to detox the body and take a break from pharmaceuticals thanks to their reduced consumption, yet above all it eliminates the stressful moments which are omnipresent in the workplace or in private life. The effects of the spa treatment are immediate in better endurance and are thus beneficial for everyone.
